The advertising team at Gannett and USA Today wanted a simple and inspiring place to demonstrate the capabilities and mechanics of some of their more intricate advertising placements
This ad showcase was built to facilitate communication about how more complex rich advertisements would work for local Gannett markets after the rollout of the USA Today's redesign. For this project, I leaned on my experience building portfolios to communicate design, since this was conceptually similar. One of the challenges of this project included visually explaining where and how the placements would display and often how they would animate interact with the other content on the page. The project had to strike a balance between these technical demonstrations and communicating technical specs while also maintaining a fun UI that would appeal to potential ad agencies.
